Sauna4Soul respekterar din integritet. Den här policyn förklarar vilka uppgifter vi samlar in när du besöker sauna4soul.com, varför vi samlar in dem, hur de sparas och vilka rättigheter du har. We aim to use as little personal data as possible and to be plain about what we do with it.
Who we are
Sauna4Soul designs and builds Skandinavisk saunas. When this policy refers to "we", "us" or "our", it means Sauna4Soul as the controller of any personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@sauna4soul.com.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Information you give us. When you contact us through the website — for example by submitting the enquiry form — you share your name, email address, and the content of your message. If you choose to provide a phone number or details about your project, we receive those too.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our server records standard technical information: IP address, browser type and version, the pages you view, the referring site, and the date and time of the visit. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies sparingly and only in the following categories:
- Strictly necessary. These keep the site working — they remember your language choice, your cookie preferences, and protect form submissions from abuse. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. If you accept, we may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read. These cookies do not identify you personally and are only set after you accept.

Why we use your data
We process personal data only for limited and specific purposes:

- To keep the website secure, monitor performance, and prevent abuse.
- To comply with our legal obligations, including bookkeeping.
The legal bases under the GDPR are your consent (for analytics cookies and marketing communications), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you have requested (for project enquiries), our legitimate interest in running a secure website (for technical logs), and legal obligation (for tax records).
Sharing
Vi säljer inte personuppgifter. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and the business, and only as far as is needed:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs within the European Economic Area.
- Our email provider, used to deliver and receive enquiry messages.
- Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers — when we are required to engage them.
- Public authorities, where we are obliged by law to provide information.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry messages: up to 24 months from your last contact, unless a project is in progress.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Records required for tax and accounting: as long as the law requires (typically seven years).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete information we no longer need to keep.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@sauna4soul.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

Some pages link to third-party sites — for example social networks. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend that you read their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we will revise the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
