Untreated softwood swells when it’s wet and shrinks when it dries out, and over enough cycles that movement is what causes cracking, warping, and eventually rot. Scandinavian Cladding A clean, horizontal board profile in the classic Nordic tradition simple, linear, and understated. It’s the finish that lets a sauna sit quietly alongside existing timber buildings or Scandinavian-style architecture without competing with them.
Brushed Cladding The board surface is mechanically brushed to lift the natural grain, giving the wood a more tactile, textured finish where the growth rings are visibly raised. It adds a rustic, hand-finished quality to the exterior.
