Most people meet a Sauna4Soul Sauna for the first time when it’s already standing in their garden — timber glowing, door closed, ready for its first session. What they don’t see is the weeks of work behind that moment: the cutting, fitting, insulating, and testing that happens quietly in our workshop, long before a delivery truck is ever loaded.

We wanted to pull back the curtain on that process, using our newest model as the example — a project that, as of this week, is complete and already on its way to a customer in Czechia.

It starts with the frame

Every Sauna begins as a set of decisions long before the first board is cut: wall thickness, insulation layout, where the vapor barrier will run, how the ventilation path will connect to the heater. These aren’t cosmetic choices. They’re the difference between a Sauna that holds its heat efficiently for twenty years and one that quietly loses energy — and eventually structural integrity — from the very first season.

Insulation and vapor barrier: the invisible core

This is the stage that never makes it into a finished-product photo, but it’s the one that matters most. Every seam is checked, every layer sealed, because once the exterior panels go on, this part of the build is invisible for the life of the Sauna. Getting it right the first time isn’t optional — it’s the whole point.

Once the shell is sealed and insulated, the interior takes shape: benches, backrests, lighting, and the heater itself, all fitted by hand to the specific dimensions of that unit. Every model that comes out of our workshop is built to order, not pulled from a warehouse — which means every Sauna carries slightly different hands-on attention depending on its size and configuration.

Final checks before the road

Before anything is loaded for delivery, we run through the same checklist every time: door seal, ventilation flow, electrical connections, surface finish. A Sauna that’s going 3,000+ kilometers to a customer’s garden doesn’t get a second chance to catch a mistake on-site.

Why we’re sharing this now

This particular unit — our latest addition to the Cube collection, still ahead of its official product launch — is a good example of what “built right” actually looks like in practice. It’s currently in transit to a customer in Czechia, proof that the same engineering standard we apply to every Sauna travels just as well outside the Nordic region as it does within it.
